Spit in the ocean

This game is a cross-over between two poker-variant classes. It basically plays as Draw Poker, but it also borrows elements from Community Card Poker.

At the beginning of the game, every player receives four cards. The fifth card they’ll need to complete their poker hand, will be dealt face-up to the board, and it will be treated by each of the players as if it were part of their hand.

The funny thing about this 5th card is, that it’s also wild and all cards of the same value become wild, as well.

The above-described deal is followed by the first betting round.

After that, all players who remain in the game, can replace the cards they consider useless. In this respect, they can exchange either 1-2-3 or 4 f their cards, the only restriction is that they end up with 4 cards still, at the end of the draw.

Hands thus improved (or not), will be taken through another round of betting, which is followed by the showdown. The player to show down the best poker hand (considering what he has in the pocket and all wild-cards) wins the pot.

Note that this game is usually played with High hands.
